I am a licensed clinical psychologist who is passionate about helping people thrive. I work with individuals and couples on issues that are challenging them in their lives. Sometimes this involves addressing current problems, while at other times we work on changing longer-term patterns. I aim to help people find ways to live their lives as fully as they wish.
I draw on a variety of approaches and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful to each client. My style is interactive, direct and empathic, and I offer a practical, sensitive, and flexible approach to our work. I collaborate with my clients to help them better understand themselves, transform unhealthy patterns, overcome barriers, and increase feelings of well-being.
General Practice and Specialty Areas
My practice covers a wide variety of issues, including depression and anxiety, improving self-esteem, grief and loss, and others. In addition, I have special expertise in sexuality and intimacy, relationships, sexual and gender identity, and women's issues.
